When purchasing a new subscription or an upgrade, a new license key is generated. To update your license key, please follow the instructions below:
Changing the license for an existing installation:
If you already have the Tick Data Suite installed, please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Open the Tick Data Suite support assistant. You can find it by clicking on the Windows Start menu icon or by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard and typing "Tick Data Suite support assistant":
Step 2. Click on the License tab. Delete the existing key and copy/paste the key you want to use, dashes included. Click on the Update button:
Step 3. If the update is successful, the Subscription expiration field will display your next billing date and Last license authentication field will display the current date and time. Restart Tick Data Manager and any open MT4 terminals for the changes to take effect.
If the update is not successful, the Last license authentication error field will display an error - such as "The license key you entered is not valid." if there is a typo in your license key.
