First of all, it's important to note that this restriction is only placed on the Tick Data Suite trial. The retail license keys work fine in virtual machines.
Trial license usage in VMs was disabled due to abuse.
If you have no access to a Windows PC that you can use to run a Tick Data Suite trial, please open a support ticket and request your trial to be enabled to run in VMs. Make sure you mention your trial license key.
